2016 Public Holidays in UAE
Holidays bring cheer to every employee. And 2016 will not disappoint you in terms of Public Holidays in UAE. There are around 11 (Eleven) public holidays in 2016.
Employees in the UAE have the following public holidays as per UAE Labour Law:
- Hijra New Year – One day
- Christian New Year – One day
- Eid Al Fitr – Two days
- Eid Al Adha and Waqfa day – Three days
- Birthday of the Prophet – One day
- Ascension Day – One day
- Martyr’s Day – One day
- National Day – One day

This year the Eid holidays are starting from 23 to 24. If you have saturday off, that means continuous 4 days.
