    • In most cases, notice periods range from 30 to 90 days as per Article 43 of the UAE Labour Law. The exact duration, whether it’s one, two, or three months, is typically stated in your employment contract.
  2. 14-Day Notice Period:
    • If you resign while on probation and plan to leave the UAE afterward, you must serve a 14-day notice period, as stated in Article 9(4) of the Labour Law. If you plan to join a new company in the UAE, the notice period is 30 days, and your new employer is responsible for compensating your previous employer for recruitment and contracting costs.
  3. No Notice:
    • There are situations where you can resign without providing notice, as mentioned in Article 45 of the UAE Labour Law. These include:

    • Assault by the employer or their legal representative, to be reported within five working days.
    • Workplace safety and health hazards that the employer fails to address.
    • Being assigned tasks fundamentally different from those agreed upon in the employment contract.
