Dubai Chill Out Festival 2012 at Dubai Media City

The 2012 edition of the Dubai Chillout Festival will be held at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from the 20th April to 21st April 2012. This year’s edition will feature Brit rock sensation The Kooks, American hip hop legends De La Soul, French-Algerian rai artist Rachid Taha and many other artists.

This year also marks a split in the programming of the Chill Out Festival with live bands playing from 4pm to 11pm at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and DJs and electronic artists Magnetic Man, Protoje and Moodyman playing from 11pm to 3am at Club Trilogy in Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

Who will be performing?

-At the Media City Amphitheatre:

20th April 2012 – De La Soul, Rachid Taha, In Transit, Noush Like Sploosh, Employees Of The Month (E.O.M) Shelley Frost featuring Khalil Ghadri & Pasha, Hirabeat, Rachael Calladine & The Everyday People.

21st April 2012– The Kooks, Tony Allen, Shaaîr + Func, Hamdan Al-Abri, RobinSukroso, Nikotin, Nik Uzi and Royden (Point of View), Nikhi Muhki.

-At Trilogy:

20th April – Protoje, Magnetic Man, Moodyman.

Note that the Chill Out Festival at Media City is an all ages event. Electric Chill at Trilogy is only open to those 21 years and above.
