News is out and UAE ranks on the top when it comes to smartphone penetration around the world. The figure of smartphone penetration is a whopping 74%. This means, almost 3 out of 4 phones used in UAE are smartphones.

UAE ranks much ahead of countries like US, South Korea, Saudi and so on.

No wonder, then that top brands like Apple, Samsung, LG, BB, HTC have a major presence here.
