UAE National Day(December 2nd) is just round the corner and I thought it was appropriate that I prepare a small post about the National Anthem of the UAE and what it means. So here it is. First of all I congratulate the Rulers of UAE on 41st UAE National Day. I also thank them for granting the expatriates an opportunity to live and work in UAE. The anthem was composed by Saad Abdel Wahab, who also composed the national anthems of other Arab states, including that of Libya. The lyrics to the anthem, officially adopted in 1996, were written by Arif Al Sheikh Abdullah Al Hassan.
