New Doha International Airport (NDIA) which is opening later this year is hiring around 8,000 people to be located in Doha, Qatar. In the run up to the 2022 Football world cup and its ambition to be region’s aviation hub, Qatar is upgrading its current facilities.
According to Akbar Al Baker the recruitment is on since last year(2011). Already 3,000 positions have been filled with more than 5,000 remaining positions.
Qatar is investing in excess of US$14.5BN in the new facilities which is poised to replace the old airport. The speciality of the airport is that it is the world’s first airport built specifically for Airbus A380-double decker, the largest passenger carrier.
